A great hit since its release in 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas—distributed and licensed by Walt Disney Pictures since 2006—is a stop-motion fantasy musical produced by the iconic filmmaker Tim Burton with a memorable score by Danny Elfman. The story follows the skeletal Jack Skellington, the "Pumpkin King," the star of Halloween Town's annual festivities. However, weary and bored of the same monotonous Halloween celebrations, Jack wanders through his spooky town until he stumbles upon Christmas Town. Intrigued by this newfound holiday, he resolves to bring scary toys to the children of the human world and take on the role of Santa Claus.
